These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through this website and outline the agreement between you (the customer) and me, Milica, the artist behind Mima Jovanov. 

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Seller Information

2. About My Artwork

I create hand-painted, custom paintings of pets. Each painting is unique and created based on the reference photo(s) you provide. Because every piece is custom-made, slight variations and artistic interpretation are part of the process.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices are in Euros (€).

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required once we confirm the details of your order.
  • The remaining 75% is due after your portrait is completed and approved, before shipping.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Portraits are carefully packaged and shipped worldwide with tracking.
  • Delivery time depends on your location, but I’ll always keep you updated on progress.
  • Shipping Estimates
    • Delivery time within Austria: 2–4 business days
    • Delivery to EU countries: 4–8 business days
    • International shipping: 7-10 business days
  • I am not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs.

  • Shipping times and rates are outlined in the Shipping Policy.

    For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

5. Custom Work & Cancellation

Because all portraits are made-to-order and created specifically for you, there is no right of withdrawal according to §18 Abs 1 Z 3 FAGG (Austrian Distance Selling Law).
This means:

  • Once the painting process begins, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations are not possible after the artwork has started.

6. Your Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible result, you agree to:

  • Provide clear, high-quality reference photos
  • Review and confirm all order details (size, pets included) before I begin
  • Let me know of any special requests before I start your portrait

7. Copyright & Usage

  • All portraits are original artworks, and I retain the copyright as the artist.
  • You are welcome to share your portrait on social media for personal use.
  • I may share the artwork in my portfolio or online unless you request otherwise in writing.
  • Reproduction for commercial use is not allowed without my written permission.

8. Damage or Issues

If your portrait arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. I will do my best to find a solution.
Note: slight smudging, paper texture, or natural artistic variations are not considered defects.

9. Privacy

Your personal data (name, contact details, photos) will only be used to fulfill your order and communicate with you. It will never be shared with third parties. For more, see my Privacy Policy.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Austrian law, and any disputes will be handled by the courts in the seller’s place of business, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.
